Since Weeks we have inappropriate speed with our internet connection. We have regular breaks on Skype, Voip, FTP and whatever.
Multiple times we called the so called ‚technical support‘.
Their only action was to send us to http://speedtest.net. Guys, if we want a real bad internet test, then we ask Aunt Google and she tells us thousands of those real bad and lying internet tests. Believe me, we all are able to read and also can write this address into the addressline of our browsers. Therefore nobody needs a so called ‚technical support‘.
The Internet test from speedtest.net is taking the highest measure value and gives to you as your internet speed. This is a lie. Your internet speed always is what goes over the line in some time, not the highest value.
So we decided to look for a good testing suite and we found it at http://testmy.net/. It shows the connection speed over a longer time and is even able to compute the real medium speed you work on.
You will be astonished…..
This was what we got with an line, that is promised to have 16Mbit/s down- and 728Kbit/ upload speed.
So we told this result to the so called ‚technical support‘, they did not care.
As we do not have the time to wait for no reaction of this so called ‚technical support‘ we decided to give this complaint to an lawyer. We will go to court to get our promised speed. We are working in different countries in Europe and know, what good internet connections are. So we think the cypriot people is worth having this too.
